Baba-Aminu is a writer, illustrator, cartoonist, and poet. His written and illustrative work is featured in bestselling graphic novel anthology ‘The Most Important Comic Book on Earth’ (Penguin UK), and his writing has appeared in a slew of publications including ‘The Passenger’ (Italy and UK), ‘Za!’Magaine, and others.

His work has been translated into French and Italian, and he is currently putting finishing touches on his first novel, ‘The Herdsboy’, a work of Africanfuturism.

Baba-Aminu, for over a decade, was the Editor – and editorial cartoonist – of the Saturday edition of the Daily Trust, one of the most influential newspapers in Nigeria, with an influential body of journalistic and cartooning work that spans two decades, before pivoting to advertising.
