Ado Ahmad Gidan Dabino, MON, is a quintessential man of letters, a Hausa novelist, playwright, poet, biographer, publisher, journalist, actor, film producer, director and a cultural activist.

He has over fifteen Hausa novels published. He produced/directing twenty one Films from 1994 to date. An award-winning writer who won the 1st prize position, 2009 Engineer Mohammed Bashir Karaye Prize in Hausa Literature (Play Category).

On September 29th, 2014, the federal government of Nigeria conferred on him the prestigious national honour, Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), in 2018, He won three best actors in leading role. 2021 received Best Actor in TV series in the film Kwana Casa’in from Arewa 24, by WAMMA Award, Niamey, Niger Republic, 2022 He received Nigeria Most Respected CEOs Award for Movie Production, Lagos-Nigeria.

He visited Germany, Italy, UK, France, Holland and fifteen African countries.
