The first Northern personality to be nominated for the AMVCA category for best actress in Africa (2022). Asabe is s graduate of law from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University. she attended law school and was called to bar in Abuja. She has a diploma with distinction in Environmental Law from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). She has a masters degree in law from the University of Aberdeen, majoring in Oil and Gas law and is currently studying for a PhD in law on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Asabe Madaki is also a Chartered Mediator and Conciliator with the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators(ICMC). A member of the Society for Peace and Studies and Practice (SPSP) and a Certified Professional in Managing Workplace Conflicts (Mediation Training Institute United States), also a Member Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)
Creativity and the Arts has always been a passion in Asabe. Over the years while being academic, she was also using her talent and gift in creativity to act films, produce and sing songs.
She has with sheer determination, pursued this passion, with starring / lead roles in notable film productions to date. As her visibility grows in the industry, Asabe’s relevance has seen her taking on leadership roles in the administration & coordination of artists, particularly in the Kaduna zone, where she currently serves as one of the Coordinators for KADAWOOD – a platform for creative arts practitioners in Kaduna state, with strong affiliations & working relationships with chapters / locations in other states.
Through her initiative, a significant number of youths in Kaduna State have acquired skills in the creative / entertainment sector, and are contributing their positive quotas to development in Kaduna state.
An Actor, TV host / Presenter, Director, Voice over Artist, Photographer, Content/ Concept developer, an Organizer/Event planner, Producer, Musician and Media Consultant; Asabe has successfully empowered a significant number of youths by training them on aspects of production such as photography, camera work, Editing, graphics design, animation, acting, sound engineering & music via her media outfit – Skylenz Productions – as her contribution towards reducing youth-restiveness and poverty; as well as giving back to her beloved State, Kaduna.
